Our mission is to nurture creative talent, preserve arts and culture, and create spaces for dialogue through programs, workshops, and events that bring people together and empower communities in Laos.
Our vision is a vibrant and inclusive Laos where creativity is valued, cultural heritage is sustained, and communities are connected through art.
Founded in 2022, The XYZ Art and Culture Center or The XYZ Art Center is a social enterprise in Laos that champions the country’s arts ecosystem. As the lead host of Lao Art Week, the nation’s yearly celebration of creativity, the Centre provides a welcoming space where artists and cultural practitioners refine their skills, share ideas and connect with diverse audiences.
Through exhibitions, residencies, training and community projects spanning visual arts, craft, digital media and related fields, we blend traditional Lao knowledge with contemporary practice and link creators in Laos with peers worldwide. In doing so, we nurture artistic expression, encourage professional growth and elevate the status of those shaping the cultural life of our nation.

At The XYZ Art Center, our work is guided by the belief that art and culture live on through people. We collaborate with partners to design and deliver initiatives that respond to specific contexts and needs. Curated Exhibitions & Design
We conceptualise and deliver annual and pop up exhibitions that showcase Lao contemporary art, heritage, and creative innovation. Through curatorial research and design, we create engaging platforms for artists, designers, and cultural products, bringing stories and creative work to diverse audiences.
Art-Focused Projects
We develop and deliver art-focused projects that strengthen the creative ecosystem through capacity building, training, and community engagement. Our programmes support artists through mentorship, skills development, and collaborative platforms that enable sustainable creative careers. We also advocate for the elevation of artists’ status and promote inclusive cultural participation through partnerships, dialogue, and cross-sector collaboration.
Creative Research & Consultancy
We support organisations through research and advisory services on the Lao creative ecosystem, including artists, audiences, project impact, and cultural policy and procedures within the creative industries.
Art in Education Programme
We design and deliver accessible and affordable art and cultural programmes for schools, including field trips and age appropriate learning experiences. Our programmes support children’s creative, cultural, and social development, providing meaningful exposure to Lao art and heritage through engaging and participatory activities.
